NewsMs Matthies was the stage manager for Dancing With The Freeborn County Stars fund raiser for the Red Cross.
At the Legacy Dance Competition coming home with high totals were Beginning Tap, the Charmers and the Tap Pack. The Dance Ensemble won a special award for their "Fierce Focus" in Piece of Glass.
At the Challenge Cup Competition the Dance ensemble won 1st place in the Challenge Cup Outstanding Performance with Piece of Glass. The Tap Pack tied for 3rd place high total.
Alumni dancers performed the closing number at the 45th annual recital in May. They were: Erin Menning Lowe, Heather Delger Sadauski, Breann Sorenson, Julie Smith Sorenson, Tamarae Holt Schmidt, Anne Phillips, Alison Phillips Sorenson, Afton Delger Wachloz, Beth Troutner, Katie Sorenson, Cori Madson, Emily Staloch, Anna Enstad, and Kirsten Staloch.
Ms Matthies is choreographing Gypsy for ACT this summer.
